Ten invited artists created twelve, site specific artworks, incorporated into the reconstruction of the Caravansarai building.
Sibel Horda (TR)
Location: building facade
Description: a port-inspired folding iron security gate
In the Future:
Location: entrance-way
Description: a seat, inset in the entrance stairway of the Caravansarai buildings, a place for some fresh air as well as a nod to Karayoy's historical brothels.
Daisy Frossard (GB)
Location: stairway, from production space to meeting point
Description: inset into the stairway, back lit plexiglass show the silhouettes of goods and services that have been traded in Karakoy, throughout its long history
Anita Bacic (AU)(HR)(SE)
Location: terrace
Description: an object that mimics ventilator turbines but doubles as moving images/animations when it interacts with the wind
In the Future:
Location: library
Description: a reading lamp in that doubles as a rotating zoetrope when interacted with via the use of a turning handle
Patricia Arnao (US)
Location: terrace
Description: a glass-brick wall filled with treasures found by the artist

Richard Bartle (GB)
Location: terrace
Description: iron trees for the terrace, re-using the re-bar from our construction. The trees will be the armature to support some sort of a climbing plant or vine.

Location: building facade
Description: a double-function pulley system : not only able to deliver heavy goods to the roof of the building, but also a way to announce openings or upcoming events to passersby

Description: iron casts of the artists' arms that create stools for tired chefs to lean against while in the kitchen
