Perşembe Pazarı Projects Preview

On Sundays, the hardware shops of Perşembe Pazarı are closed but we are open!
For one day only, we moved our Perşembe Pazarı-inspired artwork onto the street, to show how the hardware and trade of this neighborhood inspires us and other artists who come to work in our studio—which is located in a playground of art supplies.
For the past three years we have been making artworks inspired by the movements, objects, sounds, and people in Perşembe Pazarı. As part of an ongoing series of works entitled, Perşembe Pazarı Projects, this one-day only showing of recent works, it will be a chance to see the neighborhood at its most subdued.
In addition to art installations by Caravansarai, Pat Arnao (USA), and Fiona Davies (AUS) there was Street Badminton, foot juggling and trapeze exhibition, and an open flame.
