We hosted Styrian artist Clara Oppel for a two month residency in collaboration with Amber Arts and Technology Platform. She lived and worked in Caravansarai, creating an artwork for the Amber Festival.

We are part of the Global Art Program, a five year residency exchange project consisting of 40 residencies with Italian and international artists, leading up to the Milan Expo in 2015. Gabriele Garavaglia lived and work at Caravansarai for February and March of 2012, concluding his stay with an open studio.

We hosted Randa Jarrar, a writer in the Beiruit39 programme, which awarded residencies to 39 Arab writers under the age of 39.
